Dr. Obinna C. Emechebe is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained pain physician specializing in all areas of acute and chronic pain disorders. Dr. Emechebe treats patients suffering with chronic pain from all types of causes, such as neck pain, back pain, chronic headaches and migraines, chronic post-operative pain, complex regional pain syndromes (CRPS), diabetic neuropathic and other nerve-related pain syndromes, as well as cancer-related pain because of the disease process or disease treatment, just to name a few pain diagnoses.
Dr. Emechebe believes that while pain may be inevitable, suffering and despair should not be part of the pain experience. He has extensive experience treating patients with difficult pain syndromes and uses the skills he has accumulated over the years to help decrease his patients’ suffering and increase their daily activities and functional status, along with improving their quality of life.
Dr. Emechebe enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son’s soccer team, attending various family/sporting events, and above all, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. He is an active member of his church, where he leads several church groups.
