Pain Management

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy is a science-based, hands-on treatment approach focused on restoring mobility, function, and strength while minimizing pain. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or preparing for or recovering from surgery, physical therapy services can help you regain control over your body and daily life.

At Texas Pain Physicians, our licensed physical therapy specialists design customized programs tailored to your specific condition and goals. From physical therapy for knee pain and back injuries to chronic pain rehabilitation and arthritis management, our comprehensive services offer long-term, sustainable results without relying on invasive procedures.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy Treatment Options at Texas Pain Physicians

Our physical therapy services integrate advanced techniques with compassionate care to ensure every patient receives the highest level of support. Your plan may include a combination of the following:

Manual Therapy and Mobilization

Hands-on techniques reduce stiffness, improve joint function, and release muscle tension. These methods are especially effective for physical therapy for neck pain, joint pain, and postural issues.

Targeted Exercise Therapy

We develop specific exercise routines to strengthen weak muscles, enhance stability, and restore range of motion. From sports injury therapy to chronic condition management, this is a core component of care.

Neuromuscular Re-Education and Posture Training

Improving posture and movement mechanics is essential in pain management physical therapy, especially for spinal or nerve-related issues like sciatica and herniated discs.

What Our Patients Say About US

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does physical therapy take to work?

Most patients begin noticing improvements within a few weeks, although recovery time depends on the severity of the condition and patient commitment to the program.

Yes. Many of our physical therapy for knee pain or spine patients experience significant improvement, making surgery unnecessary or delaying its need.

Absolutely. Physical therapy for arthritis helps improve joint mobility, reduce inflammation, and build strength to better support affected joints.

While many patients come through a physician’s referral, direct access laws allow some patients to begin therapy without one. Contact us to find out what’s best for you.
